DJ Hero on the Xbox 360

Video games that use a musical instrument for a controller have been one of the biggest crazes for the last few years with guitar games and games that even offer every instrument for a band. But now there is something different and which offers a whole new gaming experience and that is the DJ hero which is set to be huge. It is available on Xbox 360 and other game platforms and so if you own an Xbox 360 you will be able to enjoy the brilliant game that is DJ Hero.

The DJ Hero game works in much the same way of the other Hero style games with notes moving along which you must hit with the correct note of the instrument. With the Guitar Hero games the notes traveled along the guitar strings but on the DJ Hero game they spin around on the record deck and so you have to hit the right area of the record at the right time. It is not just all about hitting the right notes on the record though as you can also flip between and scratch records, use samples and effects and also use the cross fader and so you can create some very unique and creative sounds.

The DJ Hero Set
The best way to buy DJ Hero is in the set with the turntable as there is no point playing without the turntable and the set includes the game as well as the turntable. It is quite good value as there are lots of cheap deals available and the turntable really is worth that extra money. The Xbox 360 set is priced at around £99 with the turntable and game although there are some cheaper deals which you can see on the right.

DJs
The creators of the DJ Hero game worked with many leading DJs when making the game and this shows when you play as it is very good indeed. These DJs include DJ Shadow, DJ AM and Daft Punk and so the game really does make you feel like a star DJ as you play the game.

Multi player
The best thing about the DJ Hero game on the Xbox 360 though is the multi player options that you have, it is just a brilliant party game and you will also have a huge amount of fun playing with friends. There are competitive and co-operative multi player options and so you can play with or against friends and there are even some songs included that are compatible with the guitars from the Guitar Hero games.

Track List
The DJ Hero game comes with a huge track list of around 80 songs so that you can have a huge amount of DJ fun and mix up all kinds of music. Artists include 50 Cent, Daft Punk, JAY-Z, Dizzee Rascal, Beastie Boys, Eminem, DJ Shadow, Rihanna, Black Eyed Peas, Gwen Stefani, M.I.A, Grandmaster Flash, Public Enemy, Paul van Dyk and many others and so there is a wide range of music available.
